Cyber XShield Hackfest – Cyber Security Awareness Program and Hackathon
The Cyber XShield Hackfest was organized to create awareness about cyber security and provide students with practical exposure through expert sessions and a competitive hackathon. The event focused on ethical hacking, penetration testing, threat analysis, and secure coding practices.
The program began with an awareness session followed by hands-on activities where students learned about web vulnerabilities, cyber threats, and defense strategies. Real-world examples and practical demonstrations helped participants understand industry-level security challenges.
The speaker also highlighted career opportunities in cyber security and the growing demand for skilled security professionals. Students gained clarity on industry expectations, certification pathways, and practical implementation of security measures in real-time environments.
On the second day, 10 teams participated in the hackathon, applying their technical skills to solve cyber security problems collaboratively and competitively.
