Report of semester one of F. Y. B. Sc. Cyber and Digital Science Program 2020 – 2021.
Dear Sir,
Thank you for selecting “Suryadatta Education Foundation’s, Suryadatta International Institute of Cyber Security (SIICS)” and taking admission for your son/daughter for F. Y. B. Sc. Cyber and Digital Science Program 2020 – 2021. We have successfully completed the first semester of the program and started with second semester.
In the pandemic period, we have conducted lectures and practicals online. Along with new technology of teaching and learning, there were issues faced by the students and also by teachers like the network and connectivity. I appreciate the efforts taken by students and teachers both to overcome it successfully. Our faculties have taken the extra efforts to teach the courses and it is reflecting from the excellent results of semester I examinations and valuable feedback provided by the students.
Semester I report:
1. The guest lectures were conducted by eminent and knowledgeable experts from Cyber Professionals like Adv. Anand Mathur, Dr. Anupam Bhatnagar, Mr. Datta Kohinkar, Adv. H B Keshva and Mr. Rajus Pathak. The various student’s activities were conducted in the form of the presentations, white paper, case study, news and video related to cyber security submission. (Annexure I)
2. We are providing to the students additional supplementary inputs in the form of modules beyond curriculum. Accordingly we have conducted 20 modules in workshop mode for the first year of CDS program. (Annexure II)
3. We also enrich our students with life skills value added module certifications, accordingly three modules are in process and two are in queue.
- Health and fitness. (Yoga/Meditation/Gymnasium)
- Performing Arts. (Zumba /Contemporary/Aerobics)
- Value based education
4. We are in process of starting Professional Certification Courses. The second semester time is short as SPPU decided to conduct the second semester examinations early. The daily time table slots are fully packed. So we will be starting it after completion of course work/examination of semester II.
